|
The following is from the Missisquoi County Historical Report, Volume 12, 1972 published by the Missisquoi County Historical Society, Stanbridge East, Quebec, JOJ 2HO. "Notary L. Chaboillez of Montreal came out to Phillipsburg at the home of John Ruiter, where he drew up deeds, etc. for the early settlers in the county. These deeds are in the Archives at the Court House in Montreal, and copies may be obtained from them. This list is for the Parishes of St. Armand East and West."

We have reorganized: How to search our transcribed records

|

As of date we our volunteers have transcribe more than 50,000 individual records over the past 15 years from parishes, directories, newspaper etc around the historic Missisquoi county which is now know has the Estrie region and the Brome - Missiquoi regional county municipality.
Note! I have also added the names from most of the Missisquoi area cemeteries to my master searchable list and other documents! I am even harnessing ChatGpt to help index.

You can see a list of records we have transcribed and collected in the document embedded below and download a list here
